Crossfire Brass Burners

Upgrade Your Fire Feature With a Crossfire Burner

The Crossfire burner by Warming Trends uses a patented brass jet design that mixes air and fuel before combustion. You get a taller, fuller flame that looks more like a real wood fire than anything a standard stainless steel burner could ever produce. It burns about half the gas doing it, too!

Every burner in this collection is solid brass from the manifold to the jets, so there's no rust or corrosion even sitting outside year-round. BTU output runs from 60,000 up to 560,000.

Whether you need a compact 9-inch unit for a small fire pit or a 48-inch H-style for a full-size fire table, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for here in our collection. All of them run on natural gas or propane out of the box.

What Makes Royal Fire Pits the #1 Choice For a Crossfire Brass Burner?

We're an authorized Warming Trends dealer. Every Crossfire brass burner ships free with no tax, and we'll beat any price you find from another authorized dealer.
Want a complete setup instead of just the burner? Our bundles come with everything you need to build, from the plate and gas connections to the ignition system and fire media. You can also shop the full AON fire table line with Crossfire burners already installed!

Most importantly, though, you gain access to world-class customer service when you shop with us. We know these burners inside and out, and can help match you to the right one - and support never ends after the sale when you buy from us.

Choosing the Right Crossfire Burner

Our team can walk you through every little detail to narrow down the perfect model for your fire feature. Here are the most important factors:

  • Clearance: Keep 5 to 6 inches of open space between the burner edge and your enclosure walls to protect the surround material from heat damage. The plate can sit as low as 8 inches off the ground on low-profile builds.
  • Shape: The Original fits round or square openings. Linear is for rectangular builds. H-style spreads the flame wider across larger rectangular enclosures. Tree-style and octagonal round out the lineup if your build calls for something different.
  • Size: Recommended openings range from 18 inches on the smallest Original up to 62 inches on the largest Linear and H-style models. Every product listing shows the minimum opening for that specific Crossfire brass burner.
  • BTU Rating: Bigger burner, more heat. The Original runs 60K to 560K BTU. Linear goes 90K to 270K. H-style covers 120K to 340K. Make sure your gas supply can deliver at least 60 to 70 percent of the burner's rated output.

Not sure what combination works for your project? Reach out and we'll spec it with you. No need to play the guessing game when you shop at Royal Fire Pits!

Frequently Asked Questions

What fuel types can I run through a Crossfire burner?

Natural gas and propane. Every Crossfire 2.0 ships as a universal burner with sealed brass adapters for both fuel types. No conversion kit needed.

How do I size the gas line for Crossfire brass burners?

Your supply line needs to deliver at least 60-70% of the burner's rated BTU output. Pipe size depends on the length of the run. Add about 5 feet of equivalent pipe length for every fitting in the line. Long runs from the meter or tank come with their own challenges. Use a high-pressure regulator at the source end and a second-stage regulator at the burner to keep pressure consistent.

What's the ideal pressure for Crossfire burners?

Propane runs at 11 inches of water column at the burner. Natural gas at 7 inches. Those are the standard residential delivery pressures.

Where should I put the gas stub?

Off-center and as low as you can get it. The key valve usually sits on the side of the enclosure, so an off-center stub shortens the hard-pipe run to the valve. Keeping it low leaves room above for electronic ignition if you're adding one.

Do I need an air mixer?

No. The Crossfire jets create a Venturi effect that pulls in air and mixes it with the fuel at every jet on the burner. There's no external air mixer to install and no extra connection that could leak.

What certifications does Crossfire have for its burners?

All Crossfire 2.0 burners carry CSA/ANSI certification for residential and commercial outdoor use. Warming Trends backs every unit with a full lifetime warranty.
