We are happy with Empire ventless gas stove we purchased. It is cast iron and has a nice solid look. We are using it for a little extra heat in our lower level family room and for backup heat if the power goes out as it operates without electricity. I did the research to find this five years ago and looking forward to another one. This is more expensive than ones available elsewhere, but it is superior and worth the extra few hundred.
