Surprised how easy the site was to use. Spoke with a rep and walked my through my purchase because I was concerned about when it would arrive. They offer free shipping but remember it’s free curbside shipping. When the Vermont castings Gifford came in, it’s almost 500 pounds! I didn’t realize that and I have a porch with 5 stairs. I didnt hire an installer until the Wood insert arrived so I had to hire someone to bring the unit inside.
Satisfied with the Gifford. Perfect center piece to our home. Only thing I wish there was a more user friendly Operation manual but figured it out.
I understand it is the only logs where the flames comes through the log. Happy with the look. Also produces pretty good heat.
