Product Overview

HPC Fire Torpedo Penta Burner with Round Plate Electronic Ignition Gas Fire Pit Kit combines durable craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, making it a great choice for your gas fire pit project. Its Hot Surface Ignition (EI) system allows for electronic ignition via a remote control, with options for ON/OFF or HI/LO flame settings.

Equipped with an advanced flame-sensing system, this kit features a pilot light and thermocouple that monitor flame activity. If the flame goes out, the system automatically shuts off the gas valve for safety.

Constructed from high-grade 304 stainless steel, the Penta-shaped burner (except for 14FSSEI models) includes standard burner ports and a 1/2" or 3/4" female gas inlet. The seamless design is achieved through precision machine welding. Both the burner and pan are backed by HPC's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This kit supports both natural gas and propane, arriving pre-assembled with the round flat pan and hard piping for the sealed control box. Propane units also include a spider guard to prevent gas line blockages.

One of the standout features is the patented solid brass Universal Gas Orifice (UGO), which simplifies gas type conversion. With the UGO, switching between natural gas and propane is a hassle-free process that doesn't require taking apart the appliance or using additional conversion parts. This makes it one of the most versatile and convenient gas fire pit kits on the market.

Available in a 120 VAC version with a standard three-prong plug for GFI outlets, or a 24 VAC version requiring an external power supply (sold separately). The ON/OFF model needs an external switch, timer, or optional remote (SKU: 578-C) for operation, while the HI/LO version comes with a remote and is compatible with the HPC smartphone app for convenient control. The HI/LO version also offers two flame height settings—maximum flame on "HI" and a 40% reduction on "LO." The app also provides on/off control, a timer, and troubleshooting features.

The addition of HPC's innovative Torpedo nozzles in the burner kit can create a taller, more vigorous flame, mimicking the appearance of a traditional wood fire. This kit also features HPC's updated, CSA-certified valve box, which is now more compact for easier installation and boasts a redesigned solenoid for improved reliability and maintenance.

NOTE: This product is not intended for use with small fuel tanks.
