Is a round or square fire table better? 

Totally up to you! A square fire table tucks tighter against walls or railings and might fit more naturally in angular spaces. However, a round fire table lets everyone enjoy the flame to the same extent and makes for more engaging group seating where everyone can make eye contact with one another and enjoy each other’s company. 

How do I pick the right size round fire table?

Measure your space and leave between 3-4 feet for clearance around the entire perimeter - that’s the buffer for chairs sliding in/out and for flame clearance from combustible surfaces. Should I go with a natural gas or propane fire table?

A natural gas fire table gives you unlimited fuel with no tank swaps if the gas line is readily available on your patio. On the other hand, a propane fire table is more portable and easier to set up. How do concrete and metal fire tables compare?
