Empire 22" Spirit Cast Iron Direct Vent Gas Stove with Slope Glaze Burner and Log Set offers a high-quality freestanding vented stove solution for your home. Featuring Empire's unique Slope Glaze Burner system, this stove creates an impressive flame appearance with an expanded ember bed for extra glow.
Ceramic beads within the burner mimic the natural swirling flames of a wood fire, enhancing the ambiance. Additionally, hand-painted ceramic fiber logs and glowing embers contribute to a beautiful firebox appearance.
Empire direct-vent stoves provide numerous customizable options, including liners, shelf kits, and finishes, various fuel types, and three color options (Porcelain Black, Matte Black and Porcelain Mahogany) allowing you to personalize your stove to match your preferences. With these options, your appliance is guaranteed to become the focal point of any room.
Furthermore, premium add-on options are available to enhance your installation further. Choose the automatic variable speed blower kit to improve heat circulation and efficiency. Various compatible remote control options are also offered for convenience.
Spirit Stoves come with two ignition options: Millivolt (MV) and Intermittent Pilot (IP). The Millivolt system uses a push button piezo ignitor to light a standing pilot, enabling operation via an on/off switch or optional remote control. This standing pilot ensures heat provision during power outages. On the other hand, IP systems eliminate the standing pilot for increased energy efficiency, igniting the pilot and main burner with the on/off switch. Optional remote control operation is also available for IP systems.
For users of the RVKN or RVKP variable flame kit with Intermittent Safety Pilot, the RCK20 Replacement Control Cover is required.

Bought this burner for a newly built fire pit. It is made of brass pipe and fittings and seems very well built. It has a beautiful flame and plenty of heat. A bit spendy but should last a very long time.
